Our Approach:
We started by designing a user-centric flow for both customers and service providers.
- The customer module was built first, allowing users to request services, track bag status, and view order history.
- The provider module was designed to accept requests, manage pickups, and update washing status.
A major focus was on creating a smart assignment algorithm that considered distance range and provider ratings to match customer orders to nearby, high-rated service providers. Our strategy was to streamline the process while ensuring quality and accountability.

- UI/UX Design: Developed clean and intuitive layouts for both customer and provider interfaces
- Mobile App Development: Built a cross-platform application with real-time updates and notifications
- Backend Development (Laravel): Created a robust backend system for managing orders, users, and service logic
- Location-Based Assignment Algorithm: Developed logic to auto-assign orders to nearby providers with high ratings, using timed request forwarding and dynamic range calculations
Challenges and Solutions :
The core challenge was implementing the provider assignment algorithm. We needed a system that:
- Identifies nearby providers based on geographical range
- Prioritizes those with higher user ratings
- Sends the request to the top provider and, if unaccepted within 30 seconds, automatically forwards it to the next best match.
- Real-Time Chat Integration
This required careful coordination between frontend triggers, backend logic, and timing-based control to ensure smooth operation without manual intervention.
- Identifies nearby providers based on geographical range
Result:
Tumble Load successfully launched with a scalable architecture that supported both service request management and provider coordination. Users appreciated the ease of booking, while service providers benefited from a fair and efficient distribution system. The project established a reliable and modern laundry platform, with strong early engagement from both sides.
